At the age of seven I was asked, "If you could freeze your life at a desired age, what age would you pick?". I thought about the question, and I answered "eleven". As a child, your thoughts and conclusions are simple, but their simplicity makes them intelligent. Adults usually lack the aptitude to think like a child because their natural ability and curiosity to learn has been disrupted by unpleasant experiences in their past, which created road blocks in their future. In the Bible it says, "whoever does not accept the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it" (Luke 18,17). After analyzing this quotation, one begins to understand its great wisdom and power. Children are innocent, loving, happy, resilient, curious, passionate, hopeful, optimistic, and joyful at all the little things in life. All these adjectives describe positive attributes that are necessary to enter God´s kingdom. He wants a jovial soul! Only these kinds of souls can enhance the world. I always come back to my answer, eleven, and I am astounded at its simple intelligence. I wanted to be a child forever! Did you answer the same way?
